Blake Poetry Prize 2008
Deadline for entries: 27 June 2008
A new national poetry prize, the Blake Poetry Prize 2008, is calling for entries 'bliss, blasphemy and belief'. It is sponsored by the NSW Writers' Centre, the Blake Society and the Leichhardt Municipal Council. The Blake Society awards the annual Blake Prize for Religious Art. This initiative links visual art and literature, and offers new possibilities for poets to explore the nature of spirituality in the twenty-first century. Australian literary magazine Wet Ink will provide judges for the competition and publish the winner.
