This uniquely adventurous festival explores and celebrates the ongoing relevance of Judith Wright’s legacy as a poet, conservationist and indigenous rights activist. This year’s theme is Identity and Environment: Taking up the Challenge.
Guest writers include Bronwyn Lea, Samuel Wagan Watson, Louise Crisp, Roger McDonald, Kim Mahood, Jackie French, Peter Hay, Martin Langford, Mohsen Soltani, Susan Hampton, Fadeel Kayat.
Panels and readings: ‘Writing the Land’, ‘Writers and Activism’, ‘Reaching across Cultures’.
Haiku on the Hoof, Random Acts of Poetry, Walks around ‘Edge’, Judith Wright’s former home, Poets’ Breakfast, a Writing Marathon plus more.

Satire + Activism with Martin Wesley-Smith and Ros Dunlop (audio visual works) and Harry Laing (a satirical broadside ballad).
